Kelly

Kelly is 37 years old, and he is from Carlsbad, CA.

Kelly earned a BS degree in National Security and Public Affairs from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA and a JD from the UCLA School of Law simultaneously. Upon graduating from West Point, he served two years as a Military Intelligence Officer in the US Army.

Kelly raised over $5M in equity financing for three startup companies, and as the acting President led the sale of one of those startups for eight figures to a company that has since filed for an IPO.

He is the Cofounder and Chairman of MotorPride.com, and is currently the President of CoreObjects, an outsourced software development company based in Los Angeles.

These are only my opinions. Form your own and let me know what you think.

September 9, 2004

He put a hole in Trump's wall. Trump says he owes him a lot of money. :)

September 16, 2004

He was the project manager this episode. I think he did pretty well. I like the way he worked with the charity.

September 23, 2004

Kelly did pretty well this episode, again.

September 30, 2004

I think Kelly fit right in and got the job done again this week. Yep, I think he's a contender. And let's hope he wins so he can pay for the hole in the wall that he accidentally caused while playing basketball! :)

October 7, 2004

Kelly tried to be powerful, but I felt he was too excitable. I predict he won't make it to the top 5.

October 14, 2004

Kelly got frustrated this segment again. This time at the group for not working fast enough. He designed an outfit to get them going. That certainly surprised me. I thought they were all out of their depth. Evidently he thought he knew what they needed more than most. He did get them on track, I thought.

He seemed to take his frustration out on Raj the most. (And you know how I like Raj.) If I had to vote right now, Kelly would not make the Top 5. I don't think a successful person channels their energy into frustration. They take control and get the job done, they don't compound the problem by yelling at someone when they know it's not going to do any good. They should guide the other person in the way they want them to go, not harass them into the opposite direction.

October 21, 2004

Kelly was a good worker. He didn't really stand out this week.

October 28, 2004

Kelly was not a happy camper this episode. One thing was, he thought there should be more sex in the video, and he felt he was right. He also thought he should be the one to make the pitch, not Andy.

November 4, 2004

I didn't see Kelly doing too much. He just worked without a lot of input, in my opinion.

November 11, 2004

Kelly was the Project Manager this week, but he let Sandy have the reins since she was the only one there that knew what she was doing. Wasn't he in the truck while Wes was driving? Not a happy camper.

November 18, 2004

Kelly didn't really do much this week. No change there.

November 25, 2004

Kelly was the project manager. His team did an excellent job and finished their work quickly. They gave a great presentation.

December 2, 2004

Kelly didn't really seem to do much here. He knew he was exempt, but how much of that caused him to stand around and how much was the camera's viewpoint, who knows? He is now one of the "Final Four".

December 9, 2004

Kelly is the favored one, if you go by the interviewers. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be a very good boss. By the looks of things, his workers are abandoning him, at least for a little while. They claim he is too attached to his spreadsheet.

December 16, 2004

Kelly is the new APPRENTICE!

Kelly was definitely the favored one at the end. But up until Donald fired Jennifer, it was a toss up. He even told Kelly about all the things Kelly did that Donald didn't like before he went on to tell Jennifer all the things he didn't like about her. All the people on Kelly's team stood behind him when Trump asked them who they would pick.

Interesting Tidbits

Kelly was on Jay Leno the next night and said he had about one and a half hours sleep. The words of advice that Kelly said Bill Rancic gave him were, "Don't sign anything."

Who do you think will be The Apprentice?

Here is my final guess:

The Apprentice will be Kevin.
The other three of the remaining four will be fired as follows:
Second place: Jennifer M
Third place: Kelly
Fourth place: Ivana

We'll see how it goes. :)
